Get ready to indulge in a mouthwatering journey through the heart of downtown. 14 participating downtown businesses will serve a special menu item for the day of the event. You will be able to visit and sample food at all participating locations in any order and at your convenience from 5pm-9pm.

Wallingford Center Inc., is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization dedicated to Downtown Wallingford's economic growth and vitality. Our program is designed to engage businesses and community leaders to enhance the vitality of our downtown through economic development, collaborative relationships, business support, advocacy, promotion, and events. We strive to create a bright future while celebrating Wallingford's history, culture, and deep roots.

Local Artists will display their art in four Wallingford locations to visit and shop during the Restaurant Hop: 4 Center Street, HUBCAP, Portraits by Amaris, Salon Nathaniel, and Le Jardin Cafe! Click below for a map of locations where you can visit local artists. Once you visit the Art Show, fill out a ballot and give it to the participating business representative. Once completed you will be entered into a drawing of gift basket worth $500 in local gifts.

What is the Restaurant Hop?
14 participating downtown businesses will serve a special menu item for the day of the event. You will be able to visit and sample food at all participating locations in any order and at your convenience from 5pm-9pm. Map & Menu will also be available online.
Do I need a wristband to participate in the event?
Yes. The wristbands give you access to sample food and help the participating locations know who is participating in the event versus who may be a customer.
How do I pickup a wristband?
You will receive an email confirmation upon registering for the event. Present the confirmation email at 128 Center Street in Wallingford, CT prior to May 15th to receive your wristband. Call ahead to set up a pick-up time during our business hours
What happens on the day of the event?
(We will provide you with a map highlighting each participating business and what they will be serving). Show up the day of the event and hop around to enjoy the food and beverage flavors of our vibrant downtown. We hope you leave with a full stomach, and perhaps a new favorite food spot in town!
